This tastefully furnished 2 bedroom holiday home is located in Culdaff, Co Donegal on an elevated site and enjoys panoramic views of the surrounding countryside and beyond to Trawbreaga Bay and the hills of north Inishowen.The cottage's location makes it ideal as a touring base for Inishowen with the areas golf courses, visitor attractions and fabulous sandy beaches nearby. The cottage provides the perfect 'hideaway' for getting away from it all and exploring the beautiful Inishowen Peninsula. You can use the new car ferry services at Greencastle and Buncrana to travel either eastwards along the north coast of Ireland or westwards to the rugged beauty of west Donegal. A 30 min. drive takes you to the Historic City of Derry.

Further Information & Directions

The quaint village of Culdaff dates back to the 8th century and was originally the site of the monastery of St. Buadan, a monk who used Culdaff as a starting point for missionary work to the Isles of Scotland and beyond.

More recently, Culdaff’s two beaches are recognised as being amongst the best in Ireland and visitors regularly flock to the area to take advantage of the crystal blue waters and golden sandy walkways.

Golfers are well catered for close by with the renowned Ballyliffin Golf Club only 10 minutes drive, a challenging links course considered by many to be amongst the best Ireland has to offer. You’ll also find fishing and other water activities in abundance, as well as nature trails, excellent hill walking and scenic climbs.

McGrory’s pub, known throughout the county for its lively evenings, offers the chance to mix with some of the more colourful local characters Culdaff has to offer. Bamba’s Crown, Ireland’s most northerly point, is just 12 minutes by car.
